David E Cannon

David E. Cannon (78) passed suddenly on Thursday, November 7, 2019. He was born in Oberlin, Ohio to the late Erby and Marquerite Cannon. David later moved to Elyria, where he worked and retired from General Motors Plant.

David enjoyed caddying @ the Elyria Country Club, cooking, driving tour buses and most of all David loved being in his Masonic Family; Sidonia Lodge #93, Past Master Central Star #73, Gold Ark #38, Phoenioan Council # 24, Bezaleel Consistory #35, Emanuel Knights Temple #15, Al Lalim Temple # 223, Past Potentate, Martha Chapter # 35 O.E.S, Past Worthy Patron, Herones of Jericho # 8. Traveling was one of his favorites and being around family.

He leaves to mourn his death a sister, JoEllen Johnson of San Diego, California; 4 children, Verpi Cannon, Corey (Johndrea) Cannon, both of Elyria and Darius (Leslie) Cannon and Rasha Cannon, both of Lorain. Also, with this loss of David had 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; Host of nieces, nephews and family members.

Friends may call Saturday, November 16, 2019  in the Carter Funeral Home Chapel, 127 W. Bridge St. Elyria, OH 44035. Masonic service will begin at 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 noon.
