Cynthia L Johnson

Cynthia Johnson, 63 of Elyria went home to be with the lord on October 7, 2018. She was born in Detroit, Michigan and was raised in Oberlin, Ohio and came to Elyria, Ohio, when she became an adult.

She graduated from Oberlin High School and was a long time member of Second Baptist Church of Elyria and an active member of the gospel choir until her illness.

Cindy enjoyed singing and shopping. She was very proud of her grandchildren and loved spending time with family. 

She was survived by her father, Leon Caver; son, Ron Johnson, Elyria; brother, Lawrence Brown & David Caver (Deseree) of Elyria; 7 Grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nellie Caver; daughter, Corin Jones; and brother, Robert Brown.

Friends may call on Friday, October 12, 2018 in the Second Baptist Church, Elyria 427 Chapman Lane. From 10:00am until time of service at 11:00am. Pastor Dr. Carl Small will officiate.
