Obit of Arthur Whitaker Arthur Whitaker 58, of Elyria went home to be with the Lord on October 27, 2017 in his home following a long illness. He was a lifelong Elyria resident and was a member of Original Church of God in Elyria. He was employed at the Elyria Country Club and the former Holiday Inn of Elyria. Arthur enjoyed music, watching T.V., fishing, spending time with family and friends. He will be sadly missed by his sisters: Annie A. Whitaker and Clara J. Whitaker both of Cleveland, Delores Stonewall of Lorain, Marilyn D. Whitaker and Sylvia S. Whitaker both of Elyria, brothers: Charles E. White of Madison, James F. Whitaker of Elyria and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by parents James D. and Gladys Whitaker. Friends may call on Sunday November 5, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until time of Celebration of Life Service at 4:30 p.m. in the Original Church of God, 512 Edward St., Elyria, OH 44035.
