Annie Peral Richardson was born December 26, 1932 in Stephens, Arkansas to Claudie Thompson and John Turner. She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 in Westlake, Ohio. Annie joined Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Stephens, Arkansas at a young age where the seed was planted in her heart to become a generous giver for the work of the Lord. In 1966, Annie moved to Lorain, Ohio and later worked as a custodian for Tappan Industries. There she met the love of her life, Lonnell (Ray) Richardson and they wed on September 9, 1989. Annie was a faithful member of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Elyria, Ohio where she regularly attended until her health began to decline. Annie continued to sow into the ministry to assist them in spreading the gospel. Annie was a strong lady who did not let her health challenges hinder her way of life. Even after having a stroke, which left her partially paralyzed, she continued to live independently, cooking and caring for herself. In 2014, Annie could no longer live on her own and moved to the Life Care Center of Westlake in Ohio. As a long-time resident, she was tenderly cared for by the attentive staff until she transitioned. Annie was preceded in death by her parents and husband. She continued to receive visits and custodial care by her cousin Cal Turner. She leaves to cherish her memory cousins Cal Turner (Sharon) of Dumfries, Virginia and Carl Turner (Louise) of Camden, Arkansas and sister-in-law Ida Ridley of Chicago, Illinois. Homegoing service will be Thursday, June 27, 2019 in the Mount Zion Baptist Church, 632 West River Road, N, Elyria, OH 44035 (440-323-3075) from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Rev.
