Angelus Arnold Obituary

Angelus Edward Arnold, known affectionately to family and friends as ‘Tinky’ was born in Lorain at St. Joseph’s Hospital on September 12, 1966. He attended Sheffield Lake Schools where he excelled in art and basketball and was a proud graduate of Brookside High School. He found that he enjoyed driving and began driving and began a career with Lorain City School, BFI and lastly the City of Elyria. Angelus gave his life to Jesus and was baptized, while attending the Chapel of the Redeemer. He loved spending time with his family and friends, especially hosting movie nights for his nieces and nephews. He also had many hobbies and favorite pastimes such as: playing basketball with friends, collecting comic books and movies, with a special affections for Marvel movies, he enjoyed playing video games, working and drawing in his spare time, cheering for all hometown sports like the Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers and Ohio State. Angelus entered eternal rest on Sunday, September 23, 2018. He leaves to cherish and celebrate his memory: daughter, Anesa E. Arnold, mother, Dora H. Brown (Rev. Donald O. Brown): siblings, Dorice Smith, Tracy Windham (Fletcher), Willie Arnold Jr. (Michele), Halima Arnold, DoraEllen Brown, nieces, nephews, cousins and other family, lifelong best friend Richie Flowers and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by father, Willie Arnold Sr. and a brother Samuel Kyle Junior. Paternal Grandparents, Bufford and Ophelia Arnold; Maternal Grandparents, Eddie and Doraretta Junior, Aunts Jessie Wilson and Lynette (Albert) Junior. Although he is not with us physically, the memory and love of Tinky will forever live in the hearts of those he knew and he will be sorely missed. Friends may call on Friday October 5, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at God’s Kingdom Church, 1671 N. Ridge Road, Lorain, OH 44055. Apostle Charles Howard Eulogist.
