Andrea (Moore) Hines

Andrea R. Hines- Andrea Raye (nee Moore) Hines 52, passed away peacefully with her parents by her side at Welcome Nursing Home in Oberlin, OH on Tuesday, August 20th, 2019 after a 9 year battle with cancer. Andrea was a 1984 graduate of Elyria High School, and a member of Jones Chapel AME Church, where she served on the missionary board. She was an avid reader and technologically savvy.

She is survived by her sons, Lawrence Dwayne Hines, Jr. (Joy) and Jaron Elijah Hines, both of Elyria, parents: William and Sondra Moore of Elyria, sisters Adrienne Moore Cobb, of Stow, OH, Terri Ann Horton, of Lorain, OH and Joy Betkas of North Olmsted, OH, grandson, Kamron Hines, special niece, Madeline Cobb and numerous aunts, an uncle and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ray and Nancy Oglesby and paternal grandparents, Irene Reed and William Moore, Sr.

Friends may call on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 10:00 am until time of service at 11:00 am in the Jones Chapel AME Church, 343 17th Street, Elyria, OH 44035. Rev. Dixie Smith will officiate.
