James E Keith

James E. Keith departed this earthly life on January 17th, 2024.  James was born July 23rd, 1950. He graduated from Elyria High School in Elyria, OH where James was a State Wrestling champ.

James worked for Ford and General Motors. He was an Army veteran who served for 2 years with an honorable discharge.

James married and divorced twice which resulted in two loving sons, James Keith Jr., and Sir Kane Keith.

James loved to play cards, enjoyed casinos, dominos, fishing, swimming, walking, and loving on his family.

James will be sadly missed by his sons: James Keith Jr. of Columbus, OH and Sir Kane Keith of California, two sisters: Diane Cole of Elyria, OH and Sherry Keith of Sandusky, OH, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father Walter Keith Sr., mother Jewel Keith, brother Walter Keith Jr. and Michael Keith Sr., and sister Sharon Keith.

 A viewing will be held Friday February 9th, 2024, at 10am with a celebration of life to begin at 11am located at Carter Funeral Home 127 W Bridge St Elyria, OH 44035.

The burial will be at Brookdale Cemetery 41600 Oberlin Elyria Rd. Elyria, OH 44035.
