Chrislyn Akela (Jackson) Wannamaker

Chrislyn Akela (Jackson) Wannamaker was born March 29th, 1981, in Elyria, OH to Minnie (Thompson) Jackson and Leonard V. (Jay) Jackson. Chrislyn married on May 11th, 2013, to her loving husband Raymond Wannamaker Sr.

She loved working for her brother’s company D.T. LLC. She had a passion for helping others whenever she saw a need. She loved spending time with her grandchildren (all 24 of them), as well as her family, friends, and siblings. Chrislyn loved 90’s R&B and rap music. She was the life of the party and always had a smile on her face. She enjoyed reading, watching her favorite shows “Young and the Restless, Law & Order, The First 48 just to name a few.

Chrislyn was a loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was her nieces and nephews favorite Auntie of all time!

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents Ed and Lucy Thompson and Helen and William Jackson, brother Dion Thompson Sr, father Leonard V. (Jay) Jackson, great nephew Nazere Thompson, and grandsons: Ja’Khari and X’Zayvian.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Raymond Wannamaker Sr, children: Tyrese Moore Jr. (Jordyn), Marjunae Noble, RayQuan Wannamaker, Rayzana Wannamaker, Rayon Wannamaker, Raynique Wannamaker, Rayniah Wannamaker, Raymond Wannamaker Jr. (Alisha), Ra’Shawn Wannamaker (Christian), Ra’Ven Wannamaker, Devontae Alston, Deidra Alston, Denasia Alston, and Patrisha Alston, sisters: Lashonda Jackson and Tracy Patton both of Cleveland, OH, brothers: Marvin Thompson, Benjamin Thompson and Leonard Wilson.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday January 27th, 2024, at 10am at Shiloh Missionary Baptist 3900 Clifton Ave Lorain, OH 44055.
