Obit of Sherrye Moore Sherrye S. ‘Sharebear’ Moore 49 of Elyria, made her transition to Heaven on April 3, 2017 in the University Hospital of EMH of Elyria following a long illness. She was born in Valley, AL coming to Elyria 42 years ago. Sherrye was a graduate of Elyria High School class of 1985 where she was part of the Track Team. She also attended Kent State University majoring in Business. She was employed by Amtrak as a ticket agent and by Cox Cable Co. in Mesa, AZ. Sherrye was baptized at an early age at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church and later in life becoming a member of Church on the North Coast in Lorain. She enjoyed reading, watching TV, playing tennis, family game nights and being with family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memories a daughter Diamond Rivera of Elyria, a grandson Damarie Rivera, mother Anne Moore of Elyria, father Cecil Moore of Chicago, IL, a sister Eushaundae Washington of Elyria, a brother Rodney Moore of Gatesville, NC and a host of aunts, uncles and other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Jessie Mae Flowers and Ocie Flowers. Friends may call on Monday April 10, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon in the True Vine Baptist Church, 737 18th St., Elyria, OH 44035.
