Obit of Richard Edwards Richard (Roc) Edwards Sr. 58 of Elyria, passed away peacefully on March 18th, 2017 in the University Hospital following a long illness. He was born on September 4th, 1958 to Emma Jean and Donald Edwards. Richard pursued a career a career in truck driving and also enjoyed detailing cars. He is survived by 2 sons: Richard (Michelle) Rucker of Elyria, Clayshon (Anikka) Wright of Lorain, 4 daughters: Anisha Adams of Elyria, Yolanda (Daniel) Davila of Kentucky, LaToya Edwards and Arr’yena Edwards both of Lorain, brothers Rodney Edwards of Elyria, Donald Edwards of Lakewood and Darryl Edwards of California, 24 grandchildren and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Rochelle Edwards, son Richard Edwards Jr., parents Donald L. and Emma J. Edwards, brothers Derrick ‘Rocky’ Edwards and Trevor Edwards. Friends may call on Friday March 31st, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. in the Gods Kingdom Church, 1671 N. Ridge Rd., Lorain, OH 44055.
