Mary Francis ‘Mai’ Lowe of Elyria, went home to be with the angels on December 1, 2017 in the University Hospital of EMH following a long illness.

She was born in Ripley, TN coming to Elyria in 1948. She was employed with Elyria Headstart as a teacher.

Mai enjoyed reading, traveling, cooking, drawing, and being with her grandchildren, family and friends.

She is survived by daughter: Monica Lowe and son: Walter ‘Walt’ Lowe both of Elyria.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Natasha Lowe.

Friends may call on Wednesday Dec 5, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 noon in the Unity Missionary Baptist Church, 326 Fuller Road, Elyria, OH 44035. Rev. Dr. Willie Gardner, pastor and Officiant, Rev. Dr. D. Anthony Bowes, Eulogist. Please keep the Lowe family in prayer.
