Obit of Marilyn C. Wilson Marilyn C. Wilson 69, of Elyria transitioned to be with the Lord on October 30, 2016 in the University Medical Center (EMH) following a long illness. She was born in Cleveland coming to Elyria 66 years ago. A graduate of Elyria High School class of 1965 and LCCC with an Associate’s degree. She was employed as an Executive Assistant to the V.P. of Human Resources of Refrigeration Sales CORP of Valley View, OH for 10 years and retired after 20 years with B. P. Oil in Cleveland as an Executive Assistant. Marilyn was a member of Jones Chapel AME of Elyria where she served in the Inspirational Choir, past president of the Usher Board, was Church Clerk, stewardess and served on the kitchen committee. She enjoyed traveling with her church, was a doting mother and grandmother, and loved spending time with family and friends. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 50 years, Theodore Wilson Sr., daughter Maria Wilson of Elyria, 2 sons: Theodore (Tammy) Wilson Jr., of Tacoma, WA, and Damon M. Wilson of Chicago, IL, 4 grandchildren, 2 brothers and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by a son Oswald Board, parents Leo and Ernestine Davis, foster parents James and Marguerite Roseboro, sister Darlene Murphy and brother Roland Davis. Friends may call on Friday November 4, 2016 from 5-8 p.m. in the Jones Chapel AME Church 343 17th St., Elyria, OH where the Celebration of Life services will be on Saturday November 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Rev.
