Obit of Lou E. White Lou E. ‘Ms. Lou’ White, 69 of Sheffield Township gained her wings on August 23, 2016 in her home following a long illness. She was born in Dillon, SC coming to Elyria and moving to Lorain 16 years ago. She was a member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist church of Lorain. She was a servant of Christian faith holding bible study in her home where she had touched so many lives. She enjoyed sewing, shopping, fishing, bingo, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Artavia (George) Smith, Vanessa Smith, both of Elyria, Keeli White of Columbus, sons Gerald Smith of Indianapolis, IN, Dennis (Carmen) of Lorain, Danny Smith and Adrian Darnell Smith, Sr. both of Elyria and stepchildren Howard Page, Jr.(Mann) of Toledo, Kim Boone, Yolanda Boone and Eric Boone all of Elyria, 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren, sister Elaine Trice of Syracuse, NY, brothers Leland (Cynthia) Trice Jr., Robert (Diane) Trice both of Elyria and a host of nieces, nephew and other relatives. Preceded in death by her husband Earnest White, parents Clarence Parish and Bessie Trice, sisters Florence and Maria Trice, Step-children Rodger white, Marjorie Marigna, Bridget Hogan and lifetime companion Howard Bill Page. Friends may call Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Carter Funeral Home, 3001 Elyria Ave., Lorain. Memorial service will be held on Wednesday August 31, 2016 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 1:00 in the Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 3900 Clifton Ave., Lorain.
