Annette 'T-nette' Payton 60, of Lorain went home to be with the Lord on May 24, 2016 in the University Hospital of Avon following a short illness.

She was born September 24, 1955 in Monticello, Ms., coming to Lorain 28 years ago.

She was employed as a Laborer for U.S. Steel Corp. for 8 years and was also a Union Rep for S.E.I.U. She was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Star Buckeye Chapter #46.

She enjoyed card games, loved her soap opera 'Days of Our Lives', cooking, reading, going to the casino, take care of her nails and being with and special friends.

She will be sadly missed by her son Cedric 'Bobo' Peyton, of Lorain, sister Glenda (Sam) Crowell, 2 brothers Lee Edward 'Papp' Peyton, and Roderick 'Rock' Peyton both of Monticello, Ms., grandson Cedric 'CJ' Peyton, Jr. and a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Amy Lou Peyton, sister Lee Etta Martin, granddaughter Aniya Peyton and very special nephew Anthony Martin.

Friends may call on Friday June 3, 2016 in the Friendship Baptist Church, 2160 Reeves Ave., Lorain fro 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 noon. Rev. John R. Jackson, officiating. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Carter Funeral Home, Inc., Lorain, Ohio 44055
